Scripture verses about Stripes
The Bible verse Isaiah 53:5 reads, “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his stripes we are healed.” This verse is significant because it speaks to the idea of the Messiah taking on the sins of the world. It also speaks to the idea of healing, both physically and spiritually.
